What are the different kinds of wood available and how are they different?
The three kinds of wood available are Pine, Oak and Walnut. Pine wood is a very soft wood and can mark/dent easily. It also picks up the color of the stain much more than the other two woods. Oak is a harder wood with more woodgrain and will show the different color stains but not as drastically as the Pine wood. Walnut wood is a very dark, hard wood with a purple hue to it and becomes darker when stained.

What are the different stain colors and what do they look like?
The five choices on the Pine or Oak woods are: clear; light oak; golden oak; dark oak and special walnut. If you get the Walnut wood, the three choices are: clear; dark oak and special walnut.
The clear finish on any of the woods is a hand-waxed finish with no stain color at all. Because the wood is waxed, it is sealed so it cannot be stained in the future without sanding it first. If you would like it unfinished so you can stain it yourself, please let us know when ordering your case. The light oak stain has a yellow pigment to it so it shows up more yellow on the Pine wood because of it being a softer wood and slightly darker on the Oak wood.
The dark oak stain has a brown pigment to it so that shows up more brown on the Pine wood and like a dark tan/brown on the Oak wood.
The golden oak stain is a brown color mid-way between the light and dark oak colors.
The special walnut stain has a black pigment to it so that shows up more black (especially the grain) on both the Pine wood and the Oak wood.
With the Walnut wood, the stains are just a little darker as you go from the clear up to the special walnut.

Are the cases fully assembled or do I have to put it together when I receive it?
All our cases are fully assembled with the exception of the glass doors -- they are wrapped separately and attached to the back of the case to protect them during shipping. Each case comes with hanging instructions which explain how to insert the glass doors into the groove on the front of the case. Screws and washers are also included with each case for you to hang them on the wall; and again, the hanging instructions explain that also.

How do you ship the cases and how much will it cost me?
We ship the majority of the cases United Parcel Service (UPS), which costs you $12.00/case; however, the larger ones must go via Federal Express (either Express Saver or Express Freight, depending on the size)and therefor, additional shipping charges apply to those cases. How long will it take for me to get my case?
The timeframe for shipping at this time is approximately 5-7 weeks. We try to fill the orders as soon as possible; however, sometimes it may take a little longer.

Are the cases made by you?
Yes, except for the glass doors, the cases are entirely made by BK Kases. We start with rough lumber and machine it to create beautiful display cases.

How and when do I pay for any cases I order?
We accept MasterCard, VISA, American Express and Discover. We also accept personal or business checks as well as money orders. If you choose to pay by credit card, we ask that you call our toll-free number to give us the information over the phone. Your credit card will not be charged until your case is ready to ship. If you choose to send a check/money order, you will be notified closer to the time of shippment so you can send payment at that time. Full payment must be received before order(s) will be shipped.

What if I am not happy with my display case after I receive it?
If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your BK Kases display case, you can contact us within fifteen (15) days of receipt of the case and we will gladly refund your purchase price, less shipping charges. It must, however, be returned in the original box with all shipping materials in tact exactly as you received it because we will send out a call tag through UPS to pick it up from you. You will receive a complete copy of our Return Policy with your display case.
